1988 GMC 1500 standard cab long bed pickup. My former business partner, now deceased, bought this truck brand new and I inherited it about 10 years ago. It was lightly used during most of its life and is in good condition for its age. The odometer broke 7 or 8 years ago, if I had to guess it probably has about 175,000 miles on it. It was originally silver and red, it was repainted white about 10 years ago. It does not have any rust, always a Southern California vehicle. Paint still looks decent, it has a couple small dings on the right front fender and on the passengers side door, as shown in the photos. Interior is a little ratty but would be serviceable with a seat cover and dash pad and a good cleaning. Tires are decent with about 50 percent tread. Current registration, just had it smogged, runs and drives well. It has the 350 with an automatic transmission. I put in a new transmission about 5 years ago, brand new, not rebuilt – it was the last one North County GMC had sitting on the shelf, and by the looks of the dust on it, it had been sitting there waiting for me for at least a decade. Clean CA title in hand.
