Collectible Motorcar is back again with this low-mileage, single family-owned piece of GMC history! As we all know, trucks are increasingly becoming hotter and hotter in today’s market, and this 1981 GMC Sierra 1500 is no exception. Contrary to your typical restomod truck that has been molested, this is a pure and clean unmolested truck with only 38k original miles! This long bed GMC is a very well-kept truck, and the condition backs it up. You will not have to worry about any major rust on this truck, due to the fact that it has been in Georgia for its entire life.

When looking at the truck, you will find that the black paint shows extremely well and contrasts beautifully with the red interior. More than just excellent paint, this entire truck has a great shape and styling. The cowl hood adds a mean look and pairs nicely with the classic GMC stacked headlight front end. The brightwork displayed around the truck all seems to be like new, with no major pitting in the chrome and clean logos all around. On the rear you will find a solid rear tailgate with clean brightwork, polished dual exhaust tips, and taillights that appear to be like new. Gripping the road are some Futura GLS Super Sport tires around the classic GMC 5-lug wheel. The inside of the bed shows very well and appears to have very little use over the years, but can fit just about anything. A sliding back window completes the cabin rear view and allows for cool air to enter the cockpit when needed.

While this truck shows extremely well on the outside, the motor is nothing short of impressive as well. Under the hood of this truck is the original powerhouse, which is the classic GMC 5.0L 305 cubic inch V8. This motor is obviously very lightly used, with only just under 40k miles on it. It starts right up on the crank, and idles very smoothly. The steering is tight, brakes work exceptionally well, and the 4-speed automatic transmission shifts like a new truck.

Open the door to find a gorgeous red interior, outfitted with a red steering wheel, bench seat, headliner, dashboard, and much more. All components on the interior are in very good condition, and the bench seat has been upgraded to a suede material. The dash houses controls for your AM/FM radio, Air Conditioning controls, and all of your operational gauges. Don’t miss your chance to own this survivor truck and give us a call today!
