This 1971 Dodge D200 3/4 ton Camper Special Pick-Up Truck originally came from California and spent most of its existence out there according to the previous owner.  It has only spent the last three years in the Chicago / Southern Wisconsin area before moving south to Oklahoma for the winter.  I bought the truck with the intention of making it into a flatbed car hauler but have since decided to go with a different truck and sell this one. As you can see in the pictures, this truck is in really good condition for being 45 years old!  It is still wearing all of its original paint and the body is extremely solid and straight.  The only rust issues in this truck are the two areas you see in the pictures of the drivers side upper cowl and the very top of the passenger side front fender where it joins the inner fender and that’s it!  This very well may be the most rust-free 1971 Dodge Pick-Up you will ever get a chance to buy! The odometer is showing 80,945 miles and I would be willing to bet that it is legit.  This truck is pretty unique to have been optioned with all of the chrome, aluminum and stainless moldings you see on it and they are almost all in very good condition!  The interior has rubber floor matting and a factory headliner with what I believe to be the original style seats.  Not quite sure though about the seats as it may have been a bench seat originally, but the buckets look like they belong.  Everything works as it should to include the gauges, the lights, the heater, the tach and the gauge pod under the dash.  It has a CD Player with mp3 and speakers mounted in each door and another speaker in the custom built center console. The truck originally came with a 383 in it, but now it has a completely rebuilt and fresh 400 with mildly ported 346 heads milled .060 and with shim head gasket to increase the compression to around 8.5 to 1.  It has a Comp Cam XE268 Hydraulic Flat Tappet Cam, Double Roller Timing Chain, Melling High Volume Oil Pump, Windage Tray, Aluminum Water Pump and Housing, Holley Street Dominator Intake, Edelbrock 750 Carb w/ Electric Choke, MP Electronic Ignition w/ the Orange Box, MSD Blaster Coil, Mini Starter, Coated Hooker Headers and 3″ Exhaust out the back.  The engine runs Great, has Plenty of Power and can idle all day long without getting too hot and it Sounds Awesome!  The transmission is a 727 Auto that shifts Great and has a 2400 stall Converter.  Out back it has a Dana 60 rear end w/ 3.54 gears.  The suspension is stock with newer kingpins and it rides pretty good for an old truck!  It has Manual Steering and Power Drum Brakes.
