All Model As, even the trucks, got the same torquey 201 cubic inch four-cylinder engine. Which means maintenance and components are easier than you would think on a 90+ year-old pickup. In fact, this looks to have had a recent tune-up, and it includes newer hoses, coil, and plug. And they way this runs strong reaffirms its good maintenance. The three-speed manual transmission is light and easy to master, and the four-wheel mechanical brakes are surprisingly effective given the Model A’s light weight.
