Too many vehicles at the house, not driving nearly as much as before early retirement, trying to “thin out the herd”.

Up for sale is my 1995 Chevy S-10 LS extend cab short bed pick up truck. Optioned with: the 4.3 fuel injected V6 engine, 5 speed/overdrive manual transmission, power steering, power front disc brakes, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, delay/interval windshield wipers, aftermarket AM-FM-CD 4 speaker stereo. This is NOT a el-cheapo, bare bones truck!

The green/blue/turquoise (depending on the sunlight) exterior paint is smooth and shiny, not a dent to be found on the exterior! The drop in bed liner is not split or gouged anywhere. The later model factory mag wheels and tires are not beat up at all; plenty of thread depth left on the 235/70R15 tires.

The factory air conditioning has a recent compressor, fully charged with R-134A refrigerant. It does get quite c-c-cold and tames the intense heat & humidity here in New Orleans quickly. The heater is weak. The hoses are hooked up correctly; it just doesn’t put out much heat at all. Not that big of a deal here in the deep south.

The front cloth seat is from a later model S-10 that has the fold down arm rest with storage compartment, reclining seat back with adjustable lumbar support. Quite a desirable upgrade from the factory 1995 bench seat! No sagging of the internal padding, no rips or tears. It is quite the comfortable upgrade.

Factory floor mats have always been in place; no rips or tears on the factory carpeting. The headliner is intact, no sagging or rips or tears.

The fuel injected 4.3 liter V6 engine is from a later model Chevy, with a very recent clutch pressure plate/throw out bearing replacement. Actual mileage is unknown. It NEVER overhears, even in rush hour traffic with the air conditioning blasting away. Oil burning or smoking is non-existent. Good oil pressure, a quiet engine with no ticks or rattles coming from down deep inside. It idles smoothly, pulls strongly, has a delightful macho rumble sound (not noisy) from the exhaust at curb idle. The clutch and transmission engages smoothly, with no chattering or shaking or vibration. The 5 speed manual transmission (with 5th gear overdrive ratio) upshifts and downshifts as new; no grinding or crunching to be heard or felt. If you step on the gas aggressively and shift it correctly it really does “get up and go”!

This truck drives like new! No pulling to one side, no vibrations, no squeaks, rattle and wind noise free! A “tight truck”. It stops straight and true and quickly. Don’t let the odometer reading spook you; it drives better than most newer vehicles do.

As you can tell from the pictures and my accurate and honest description; this is an extremely clean and original vehicle. I consider it a “Turn Key” vehicle and would not hesitate to sell it to family or friends.
