Here is a 1986 F150 survivor, 1 owner, meticulously maintained and in excellent condition with nothing more than some very light surface rust in a few places on the frame. This truck has lived the vast majority of time in either Washington state or New Mexico. It has a standard cab, dual fuel tanks, 5.7 H.O. (351) engine, Automatic Transmission, 4X4, cruise, and cold A/C (upgraded to R134A). The truck is complete with jack, spare tire and all original plumbing. Everything works as it should with a couple of exceptions; neither fuel sender is reporting the correct fuel quantity and the tachometer is reading low. The owner has 2 new fuel senders which will come with the truck. There is also a small hole in the dash pad in the speaker grill area. Over the years the owner installed a shift kit in the transmission, an aftermarket exhaust with catalyst, and an aftermarket rear bumper. A couple of years ago someone ran into the driver side door and after the door was repaired the entire truck was repainted the original color (Dark Spruce Metallic) and the paint job is excellent. All of the bright trim and chrome is excellent. The upholstery is like new, no stains or tears and it shows almost no wear. The tires have plenty of tread and although they are dated 2007, they show no signs of age-related cracks. There is a Ford rubber mat in the bed and a topper (cap) which keeps items in the bed secure and dry. There is a factory supplied tool box behind the seat which includes jumper cables and a first aid kit. The truck is very well documented and comes with the original window sticker, Ford Shop Manuals, receipts and repair records, a build sheet and a Marti report. This truck gets compliments every time it goes out and would show nicely at a car show, or if someone wanted to do a concours restoration this truck would be a fantastic starting point.
