The 351 is freshly rebuilt, and nicely dressed in bright Ford Blue paint along with an Edelbrock dress-up kit and bright red plug wires. Underneath there’s a 4-barrel carburetor and an aluminum intake manifold, plus the ProForm ignition setup, so this V8 is more than just pretty. With a recent tune-up, it starts easily and runs well, and the rumble from the new Flowmaster dual exhaust system sounding more like a vintage muscle car than a big pickup. The chassis is heavy-duty enough to go just about anywhere thanks to a three-inch lift on the suspension, and with manual locking hubs, you don’t have to worry about fragile parts getting broken at the least opportune moment. Brand new 15-inch Mickey Thompson alloys wear big 33×12.50-15 all-terrain tires that were just recently mounted.
