With just 1097 miles on the clock, the 355 cubic inch Chevy V8 under the hood is still very fresh and it runs like new. There’s a bit of patina on the valve covers and firewall, but you’ll note everything else is brand new. There’s an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and aluminum intake manifold, a fresh set of ceramic-coated headers, a new alternator, and a brand new wiring harness to make it all run. A big radiator ensures that this rough-looking pickup doesn’t have rough-looking pickup problems and there’s a new exhaust system with glasspack-style mufflers for an appropriate soundtrack. The beefy TH400 hangs on a fresh cross member and you’ll note that the entire front suspension has been rebuilt with new hardware throughout. The same is true with the original rear end, which has new shocks holding it up. Vintage Torque Thrust wheels up front and truck-like steelies in back complete the look and give it a wicked stance.
