1952 IHC International L130, Like L110 or 3100
ONLY 32K Miles!
Up for grabs is this beautiful 1952 International L130 Pickup. I took good pictures from every angle, and if you have looked at them, you can tell how special this pickup is.
This is a one family-owned truck, and I purchased it from the original owner’s grandson. It had been inside most of its life but was moved outside 10+/- years ago, to make room for newer equipment. He hated to sell it, but he also couldn’t stand to see it deteriorate from setting outside. I told him I would do my best to find “the ol’ binder” as his grandpa called it, a good home – so here we are.
This truck is really exceptionally straight, not just for a farm truck, but really any 70-year-old vehicle. There is basically no rust (rot) anywhere that I can find, and the floors are rock solid. The doors open and close like you would expect on a 32K mile truck, the transmission feels tight and shifts great. The engine starts and sounds great, carries good oil pressure, and doesn’t smoke (a little old gas smoke, no oil smoke). This has been setting for several years, so it is going to need a thorough servicing. The fuel pump is leaking, and it will need a master cylinder. There will surely be other small things it needs, but any weekend mechanic could have this road ready in short order.
I get quite a few old trucks from farms here in Kansas, but rarely one as straight, solid, and unique as this one. I hesitated to do a auction on this one, but hopefully it will reach the right people. It is a special truck!
