Up for grabs is my 1952 Chevy 1 ton pickup. This truck has a 1948 235 (yes, they did make them in ’48) babbitt bearing engine with a floor mounted 4 speed transmission. This vehicle runs and drives. Clear ND title in my name. Freshly reupholstered bench seat. CHECK OUT THOSE COOL HOMEMADE SUN VISORS! This truck was a gas station service truck in ND at one time. The Mobile stickers on the door are originals from when it was being used as a service truck. The lettering is my old company business logo that I had a friend paint on there for me. I removed the one ton rear end and replaced it with a half ton rear end from a 1964 Chevy pickup. This changed the cruise speed from 40 to 50-55 mph. I have BRAND NEW 10 ply radial tires all of the way around and they are mounted on modern wheels. I had to use 1 inch wheel spacers in the front to clear the tie rod ends and had to use two inch spacers in the rear to convert the six lug axles to fit my eight hole wheels. The original rear end is included with the truck in case you want to convert it back to original. I also have two 6 hole wheels for the rear if you want to remove the spacers and mount the new tires on the 6 hole wheels.
6 volt system with original points style ignition. It still has the generator charging system. Very old school cool!
This truck has a hoist! Load your garbage in the back, take it to the dump and let gravity pull it out for you! Then, hit the car show on the way home! Hoist is an electric over hydraulic system that uses a starter motor to turn the hydraulic pump.
This truck has a “U-joint” style drive-line and not a torque tube so modifications are much easier.
No power steering, no power brakes.
I have a 1964 Chevy 230 6 cylinder with a 4 speed I can throw in with a full purchase price purchase. Bear in mind that a 230 and 235 have different motor mounts so there will be some fabrication on your behalf that will be involved.
There is some rust in the kick panels inside and a little on the passenger side floorboard. I have tried to show this. Left rear wheel fender has some dents and road rash. Tail lights need some attention. Passenger side window needs replaced. All other glass is in decent shape at this time. Windshield wiper motor does not work. One wiper arm is missing.
Run it the way it is or take it to the next level! Solid candidate for either!
